Opportunities for Green Health Care Facilities Seminar

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter of CSI, in conjunction with AIA
Minnesota and USGBC Mississippi Headwaters Chapter, will be offering
a continuing education seminar the morning of October 25, 2006
at the Continuing Education and Conference Center on the U of
M’s St. Paul Campus. Gail Vittori, co-director of the Center
for Maximum Potential Building Systems in Austin, TX, will discuss
sustainable design as it relates to the field of healthcare. Gail
has extensive professional experience with green building and
is a LEED™ Accredited Professional. In addition, she serves
on the Executive Committee of the U.S. Green Building Council,
chairs the LEED™ Application Guide for Healthcare Committee
and has been on the Green Building Task Force of the American
Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). Additional information,

Construction Documents Technology Program Seminar

The Minneapolis–St. Paul Chapter of CSI will be presenting a seminar on November 2, 2006 from 7:15 AM – 5:15 PM at the Continuing Education and Conference Center on the U of M’s St. Paul Campus. This is a one day overview of CSI’s new Project Resource Manual (PRM) and will provide a good foundation for individuals planning on taking the Certified Documents Technology exam, or for those just wishing to increase their knowledge of construction industry practices. Architects, engineers, interns, product representatives, field superintendents and other in the construction industry will benefit from this course.
