We are a 90+ person architectural, interior design, landscape architectural and engineering firm seeking an experienced specification writer to join us in a collaborative work environment. The successful candidate must have 8 or more years of related experience in institutional, government, corporate, and multi-family/mixed use project types or a majority of these market areas. Duties include LEED responsibilities related to spec writing and the candidate should be LEED certified or willing to work toward it. Additionally, QA and document review responsibilities will be shared with BKV’s QA leader. Includes writing Architectural, Interiors, Structural, Landscape specs, and coordinating Mechanical and Electrical specs written by BKV M/E staff. Should be familiar with both ’95 five digit and ’04 six digit spec systems. MasterSpec experience preferred. Salary negotiable based on experience.
