Chris Johnson

Chris is a seven year veteran with National Gypsum Co. as a regional sales representative for Minnesota and North Dakota. His responsibilities include maintaining relationships with key distributors, lumberyards, contractors & architects.  National Gypsum Company is a fully integrated building products manufacturer and one of the leading gypsum wallboard producers in the world. The company, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, has over 50 locations including, laboratories; mines and quarries; paper mills; wallboard, interior finishing products, and cement board plants and sales regions.

After growing up in southwest Minneapolis, Chris attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and graduated in 1989 with a Construction Management degree. In addition to his studies, he was a varsity letter winner on the Men’s heavyweight rowing team.  After college, he worked on the Minnesota History Center for Bor-son/Knutson for four years.  Then he pursued a sales career in Michigan with Rollerblade, Inc. for six years before coming full circle back into the construction industry. 

Chris joined CSI and our Chapter this past April and is looking forward to his first get together with fellow Chapter members at the annual Golf outing. Chris lives in Kenwood where he enjoys running, biking, in-line skating, cross-country skiing and spending time with his chocolate lab, Tahoe.
