Saint Paul, MinnesotaAmerican Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET), a leading engineering consulting firm, announces that Joe Bentler of its Saint Paul office has earned his professional engineering license in Minnesota.  Joe has been with AET since May 2004. His primary consulting areas include: wind energy projects, Trunk Highway 212, cone penetration test analysis, geotechnical instrumentation and slope and retaining wall stability analysis. 

 

In September 2007, Mr. Bentler presented a paper based about his Master’s research on instrumentation of cantilever retaining wall performance at the 7th International Symposium on Field Measurements in Geomechanics (FMGM) in Boston.  Mr. Bentler is a native of Glenwood, Minnesota.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in 2002 and his Master of Science in 2004; both degrees are in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota.  During school he worked as a research assistant in the rock mechanics laboratory of the Civil Engineering Department.

 

Duluth, Minnesota – American Engineering Testing, Inc. Prom attended Bemidji State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in 1995.  He majored in Environmental Science, with an emphasis in Biology. 

 

Greg is an Environmental Scientist for AET.  He conducts a variety of investigations including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), corrective actions design and remedial investigation for Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) sites, pre-demolition asbestos and hazardous materials surveys, and conduction mold and indoor air quality surveys.  Greg is originally from Pengilly, MN.  He currently resides in Duluth, MN with his wife Sarah and children Sienna and Ryker.
